Point of Views
I think that the way a story is portrayed is very important to that of the character. I like that Margaret Atwood substituted in so many different views for her short story. The endings were mostly the same but the middle part was always viewed differently from each person. In a way it is like reading several different stories with all the same endings just with different names attached to it. I think that this is very useful in getting to know the real characters from different lights as opposed to from just one view.

Scene Three
Walter finally became a man today and I can relate to him now. He stepped up just as I did in the end The Tempest. He came to his senses and did the right thing to redeem himself for the mistakes that he had made, I am proud of him today. I know his mama and his wife are proud too. It takes mistakes sometimes before a person turns themselves around and takes charge like they should have in the first place. I am one of the same as Walter in that sense for I enslaved spirits and then I realized my wrongdoings and let them free as they deserved to be.

Life of Isolation
As a father of a daughter I do not agree with the way that Emily Dickinson spent her life. I think that instead of spending so much time alone she should have been trying to start her own family. I do not mean that she should have been off being promiscuous by any means but she should have been a little more social in my opinion. Although her parents did die and that did take a a great tole on her she should have managed her grief in other ways, not just locking herself alone and writing. On the other hand I know the feeling of enslavement because I too have felt that by my brother's doing, however instead of sitting locked in a room I made it so that I could have my power and self respect back. I did what I thought necessary, whether that mean tricking my daughter or enslaving spirits. I think that Emily Dickinson should have spent a little more time around people and trying to work herself up after the loss of her parents.
